A clerk shows Van Gogh's painting
"The Pollard Willow" at Van Lanschot, the oldest bank in the
Netherlands, in the southern Dutch city of Den Bosch, Mar. 16,
2006. "The Pollard Willow" was one of the last works the Dutch
painter made in Nuenen in 1885 before leaving the southern region of the
Netherlands where he was born. Nearly seven years after it was stolen from
the bank's headquarters in May 1999, the painting is recovered
by Dutch police. |
