MELBOURNE, March 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The Australian weightlifting team coach Ralph Cashman Friday said that he is confident all the team's members will be found to be drug-free.

Cashman was speaking as drug testers worked on pills, vials and syringes which were found in rooms and believed of having been used by weightlifters during a stay at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

The results of the tests should be known later today.

"My current information is that the drama that's been caused asa result of information relating to ... at the Institute will be found to be totally clear," he said.

Meanwhile, Australia's Commonwealth Games chef de mission John Devitt said the weightlifters involved had protested their innocence to him.

"The people I talk to and whom I believe are honest and sincere people think that they haven't done anything wrong. So time will tell," he said. Enditem
