Russian aircraft to stunt-fly in south China's tourism place

     ZHANGJIAJIE, March 16 (Xinhuanet) -- A stunt flying team from the Russian Air Force will conduct air shows in Zhangjiajie, one of the most scenic tourist sites in central-south China's Hunan Province.

    The air shows constitute part of the 2006 Russian Year in Chinaactivities, is comprised of three parts -- stunt flying, mid-air refueling, and flying through the Tianmen (Skygate) Cave.

    Russian sports aircraft and fighter planes will take part in the stunt flying, while an Il-78 tanker will perform mid-air fueling.

    The Russian team is the only in the world to use heavy-weight fighter like Su-27 and Su-30 in stunt flying performances. They will pass through the cave at a speed of 750 kilometers per hour. Enditem
