S.Korea confirms release of journalist kidnapped in Gaza

    SEOUL, March 15 (Xinhuanet) -- South Korean government on Wednesday evening confirmed its journalist kidnapped by insurgent in Gaza Strip, Palestine, was released and handed over to its foreign mission.

Rafah crossing reopened, others still closed

    GAZA, March 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian security sources said that the Rafah crossing on Gaza-Egypt borders has been reopened Wednesday but other crossings between the Gaza Strip and Israel remain closed.

    The Rafah crossing, monitored by European observers, was shutdown on Tuesday afternoon amid a string of kidnapping spree by militants in protest against an Israeli raid on a West Bank prison.

Australian teachers released after kidnapped in Gaza
