Urgent: UN adopts resolution to establish new rights body

    UNITED NATIONS, March 15 (Xinhuanet) -- The UN General Assembly on Wednesday overwhelmingly approved a resolution to establish the new UN Human Rights Council.

    The resolution was adopted with 170 countries in favor, four against and three abstentions, the Assembly President Jan Eliasson announced. Enditem
