UNITED NATIONS, March 14 (Xinhuanet) -- A UN report released Tuesday said Syria has complied with almost all requests for assistance from the UN commission investigating the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.
"The Syrian government has, in particular in the last three months, formally complied with nearly all of the Commission's previous requests for assistance," said the report prepared by Serge Brammertz, who heads the investigatory panel.
The report, the third since the investigation started in June last year, was presented to the 15-nation UN Security Council early Tuesday. Enditem |
