PYONGYANG, March 13 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) demanded the United States on Monday to change previous hostile policy against it, saying it is a precondition for DPRK to return to six-party talks.

    The DPRK denounced U.S. for its "double-dealing" policy on six-party talks in a commentary carried out by the leading official newspaper Rodong Sinmun.

    The commentary said there is no hope of resumption of the six-party talks on nuclear issue in the Korean Peninsula unless the U.S. changes its hostile policy, adding that "it depends entirely on the U.S. attitude."

    "U.S. always intentionally set obstacles for six-party talks by accusing DPRK of fabricated human rights violation, counterfeitingand drug trafficking before there signs of progress in the talks "said the Rodong Sinmun.

    The six-party talks have been deadlocked since the United States imposed on financial sanctions on the DPRK last year.

    The DPRK has said it will not return to the talks if the United States does not lift the sanctions. Enditem
