CBA: Shorthanded Beijing loses to Jilin 104-93

   BEIJING, March. 11 -- With the exit of leading scorer Menk Bateer, North Division powerhouse Beijing has suffered a 104-93 home defeat against Jilin.

    Bateer, a former NBA player, played for only two minutes, after having to be pulled out of the game due to an injury.

    Nate Williams scored a game high of 30 points but failed to save Beijing from defeat.

    Wang Bo led visiting Jilin with 24 points and 16 rebounds.

    Defending champion Guangdong continues to be unbeaten in home court regular season play, stunning Yunnan 127-88.

    Rising star Yi Jianlian led Guangdong with 29 points and ten rebounds, while Terrence Green added 26.

    Bibby Walton scored 29 points for Yunnan.
