Thai demonstrators agree to end rally at election headquarters

   BANGKOK, March. 30 (Xinhua) -- Opponents of Thai caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his administration, led by the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), have agreed to end their rally at the Election Commission of Thailand (EC) headquarters on Friday morning.

   BANGKOK, March. 30 (Xinhua) -- Supporters of Thai caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra disrupted the rally site of the Democrat Party in northern city of Chiang Mai Thursday evening forcing Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva to cancel his speech.

Thai govt vows to take action against law-violating protesters

   BANGKOK, March. 30 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's caretaker Deputy PM Chidchai Vanasatidya Thursday insisted that legal action will be taken against demonstrators both anti-and pro-caretaker PM Thaksin Shinawatra after the April 2 general election, should there be substantial evidence showing that they violated the law.

Thai ministry warns political crisis impacting consumption, investment

   BANGKOK, March. 30 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's export performance exceeded forecasts but domestic consumption and investment are showing signs of slowing down in response to the ongoing political crisis, Thai Finance Ministry warned on Thursday.
