NEW DELHI, March 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Investigations into Tuesday's blasts in Central Indian state Uttar Pradesh's city Varanasi are underway, New Delhi Television (NDTV) reported here Thursday.

A search is on for the woman who is believed to have planted the bomb at the Varanasi Cantonment railway station.

The police are also on the lookout for two men who were seen at a shop from which a live bomb was recovered.

Another crucial bit of evidence being examined is a wedding video that was being filmed when the bombs went off in the Sankat Mochan temple.

A wedding had just taken place at the temple when the bomb wentoff, leaving several dad and injured on Tuesday evening.

In a recent development, a phone call has been made to a private news channel by members of a militant outfit Lashkar-e-Kahab, claiming responsibility for the Varanasi blasts, NDTV reported here. There were no details about the organization.

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, is also scheduled to hold a meeting.

The meeting will discuss the country's security scenario in thewake of the Varanasi attacks. It is reported that the Indian government has asked all state governments to take measures to prevent communal flare-ups. Enditem
