Sexy HK star Fanny Su

    BEIJING, March 8 -- Sexy Hong Kong star Fanny Su has signed with South Korean Hyunjin Cinema to star as the female lead in the third installment of "My Wife is a Gangster".

    Famous Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi was previously invited to star in the comedy, but ultimately failed to solidify an agreement.

    Fanny Su has been confirmed to play the daughter of the head of a sinister gang in the film, which will start shooting on May 7. The male lead has not been decided yet.

    This is the first time for Fanny Su to join a Korean project. She will fly to South Korea to prepare for the new film in April.

    The first installment of the film series gained wide popularity in China in 2002.
