DAR ES SALAAM, March 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Zanzibar's Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi club has bowed out of this year's African Confederation Cupsoccer tournament after they went 2-0 down to hosts Madagascar's UJSF Ravinala club, according to reports reaching here on Tuesday.

The two clubs played to a goalless tie in the opening leg of their first-round play on Feb. 18 and their return leg was played in Antananarive of Madagascar on March 5.

The Zanzibar club was making its debut in the annual continental tournament.

Madagascar's UJSF Ravinala club will next play the winner of the home-away match-up between Mozambique's Ferroviario Beira and Comoros' Elan Mitsoudje.

A total of 38 clubs are taking part in this year's African Confederation Cup tourney. Enditem
