    BEIJING, March. 4 -- The long-anticipated martial-arts TV drama "The Return of the Condor Heroes" will air on March 17th on Zhejiang television.

    A gala launch ceremony was held on Friday in Hangzhou, the capital city of southeast China's Zhejiang province.

    The director of the TV series Zhang Jizhong, publisher Ma Zhongjun and cast members Liu Yifei, Huang Xiaoming, and Meng Guangmei have all attended the press conference.

    The series is based on Louis Cha's famous novel of the same name, with Liu Yifei starring in the leading role, as the Little Dragon Girl, and Huang Xiaoming portraying the "Condor Hero", Yang Guo.

    A number of Louis Cha's other works have been adapted to film and TV, as well as past Taiwan and Hong Kong versions of "The Return of Condor Heroes".
