Urgent: Russia launches communication satellite for Arabsat

    MOSCOW, March 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Russia successfully launched a communication satellite for Saudi-based Arabsat on Wednesday onboard a proton-M space cargo rocket from the Russian leased Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

    The Arabsat-4A that has been successfully put into orbit will provide communication services over a wide area within the Middle East region. Enditem
