UNITED NATIONS, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The General Assembly President Jan Eliasson said on Tuesday that he hoped the UN body will come to action on the draft resolution on the UN Human Rights Council as soon as possible.

    After consultations with member states, Eliasson said he was encouraged by the general positive reaction from the membership on the draft resolution, although there were some skeptical and negative voices. Enditem
