PYONGYANG, Feb. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- The Unite States conducted more than 170 cases of aerial espionage against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in February, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying on Tuesday.

The U.S. U-2 planes almost made daily shuttle flights over the DPRK's "strategic targets" through February to conduct surveillance, the KCNA said.

Meanwhile, similar espionage was conducted more than 30 times by RC-135s, E-3s, EP-3s and other tactical and electronic reconnaissance planes, KCNA said.

On Feb. 24, U.S. RC-135 strategic spy planes made shuttle flights to spy on the whole area of the DPRK, the KCNA added.

Pyongyang has said the U.S. had conducted more than 190 spy flights over its territory in January. Enditem
