BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Profits in privately-owned industrial enterprises grew fastest among all kinds of Chinese industrial enterprises in 2005, figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) Tuesday show.
According to an NBS report on China's economic and social development in 2005, profits in privately-owned industrial enterprises with annual sales income over 5 million yuan (625,000 U.S. dollars) grew 47.3 percent year on year to 197.5 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, profits of state-owned industrial enterprises with annual sales income over 5 million yuan grew 17.4 percent to 644.7 billion yuan, and that of collectively-owned industrial enterprises grew 32 percent to 55.1 billion yuan.
Profit of joint-stock industrial enterprises with annual sales income over 5 million yuan grew 28.7 percent to 742 billion yuan, and that of overseas-funded industrial enterprises grew 6.9 percent to 396.7 billion yuan. Enditem |
