Urgent: China's parliament ratifies UN convention against terrorism financing

    BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese lawmakers on Tuesday voted to ratify the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, aiming to restrict terrorist funding.

    The convention was ratified at the 20th session of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress which concluded here on Tuesday. Enditem
