    TURIN, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- South Korea's Jin Sun-yu claimed her second gold medal at the Turin Winter Olympics here on Saturday when she won the women's short-track speed skating 1,000 meters.

    Jin, who had won the 1,500m title, finished in one minute 32.859 seconds.

    China's Wang Meng, winner of the 500m event, won the silver in 1:33.079, with compatriot Yang Yang (A), also the defending Olympic champion in the event, took the bronze in 1:33.937.

    The final was a China vs South Korea affair as each team has two representatives in the nine-lap race. Wang led through the early stages of the final, but Jin overtook Wang on the penultimate turn and held on till crossing the finish line. Enditem
