LONDON, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- British police arrested on Saturdaytwo more men over the country's largest ever cash robbery, local media reported.

The two, aged 55 and 33, were picked up in Kent on suspicion ofconspiracy to commit robbery, Sky news reported.

The three people previously arrested have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

On Friday, a van was discovered in Kent, southeast England, with a large amount of money inside. But so far police have given no details of the sum of money secured.

Police have so far recovered five vehicles, all of which are being probed for forensic clues.

A 100-strong police team is involved in the manhunt for the gang which is to number at least six.

Wednesday's robbery of a Securitas depot in Kent is deemed an unprecedented case in Britain's history. A Securitas spokesman said earlier that at least 25 million pounds in cash was missing, but the amount taken could be as high as 50 million.

Police in Kent believed the robbery was executed with military precision by a professional gang operating at the "top level" of organized crime.

The security firm and insurers have offered a 2-million-pound reward to try to tempt criminals with information to come forward.By Saturday the public had made 800 calls with information relating to the robbery. Enditem
