GAZA, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Amin Haddad, Palestinian X-Monitory Authority Chief on Saturday said that Iran would not face any legal banking problem to transfer financial aids to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).
In his press statement, Haddad said, "There would be no legal problems if Iran is transferring aids to the internationally recognized Palestinian (National) Authority instead of to a special terrorist political organization."
"If Iran finds it difficult to transfer money to the PNA in dollars, the other solution is to use another international currency, which would be the Euro," said Haddad.
He said that it's true the United States would be able to put political pressures to obstruct transferring the funds through New York in USD currency, but there is a possibility to send it via the European Central Bank in Euro currency.
Haddad said that three basic conditions must be fulfilled regarding transferring funds.
According to Haddad, the three conditions are as follows: the side that would transfer funds must be known and in this case it's Iran; the source of transfer must be known and it's the Iranian treasury; the side that would receive the money must be known and in this case it's the PNA and not any political organization."
Haddad said with these three conditions met, no power could prevent the transferring unless the UN Security Council issues a decision to prevent it. Enditem |
