MANILA, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Instead of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the People Power Revolution, embattled President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo went out of the Presidential Palace Saturday to attend an entrepreneurs' event at a mall in Taguig City, southeast of Metro Manila.

Arroyo arrived at the "Go Negosyo" summit and expo, featuring fashion and arts products, at the Market mall at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig city Saturday afternoon.

Those at the mall apparently were excited and waved their hands at Arroyo while on her way to the third floor which is the venue for the event.

Arroyo Friday placed the Philippines under a state of national emergency and ordered the military and police to arrest opposition forces involved in an alleged plot to topple the government. Enditem
