Gunmen attack Iraqi Shiite family, killing 12

Workers are dealing with the remains of the 12 killed family members.

    BAGHDAD, Feb, 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Unidentified gunmen Saturday broke into a Shiite family in Baquba, some 65 km northeast of Baghdad, killing at least 12 family members, according to police sources.

    The horrible family attack was the latest in a spate of deadly violence and mass murders after a holy Shiite shrine was bombed on Wednesday in the northern Iraqi city of Samarra. Enditem
