DHAKA, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- At least three people were killed and many others injured as a five-storied building collapsed here Saturday morning, television channel Ntv reported Saturday.

    The garment factory building collapsed in the capital's Tejgaon industrial area at about 11:00 a.m. (0500 GMT), fire service officials told Xinhua.

    The death toll might rise as scores of construction workers were still stuck inside.

    Fire Brigade and other law enforcing agents have been deployed at the scene for conducting rescue operation.

    The building, that once housed a garment factory, was under renovation work for setting up a medical center.

    This is the second factory building collapse in less than one year. In April last year a nine-storied building housing a garment industry near Dhaka collapsed, killing 74 workers and wounding hundreds others. Enditem
