BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Lenovo Group, China's largest personal computer producer, maintained its top position in the Asia-Pacific area in the sales of personal computers, said statistics company Gartner.
According to a report released over the weekend, Lenovo sold a total of 7.8 million units of PCs in the Asia-Pacific market last year, surging 28.6 percent over the previous year.
China's second biggest computer producer, Beijing University Founder Group, also ranked among the top five PC sellers in the Asia-Pacific market for its 45.1 percent sales growth, said the Gartner report.
In the Chinese market, Lenovo realized a total sales of 6.35 million units PCs, sharing 33 percent of the national market.
Beijing University Founder Group and Tsinghua Tongfang Company Limited ranked as the second and the third largest PC sellers in China, with their market share standing at 11.1 percent and 8.2 percent, respectively. Enditem |
