BAGHDAD, Feb. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A car bomb went off in a market in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 21 Iraqis and wounding 25 others, a police source told Xinhua.
"The explosion occurred at around 5:20 p.m. (1420 GMT) in a market in the southern district of Abu Deshir," the source said.
"The blast damaged several cars and destroyed several shops nearby," he said, adding that many ambulances and police vehicles had rushed to the scene.
The wounded were immediately transferred to the Yarmouk hospital, according to the source.
