Central bank: Yuan will keep "basically stable" in 2006

    BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- The People's Bank of China, or the central bank, said on Tuesday the country's currency will be kept "basically stable" at a reasonable and balanced level in 2006.

    The market force will play a "fundamental" role in the determination of yuan's value, the central bank said in a report. Enditem
