China sweep Qatar open in Table tennis

    BEIJING, Feb.18 -- China has once again showed its dominance in table tennis, sweeping up all four titles at the ITTF Pro Tour Qatar Open. China also won two silvers.

    In addition, two silvers have also been added to China's medal collection.

    World number one Wang Liqin garnered his 20th Pro Tour crown, beating teammate Ma Lin, who took second.

    Wang also recorded a great success in the men's doubles in a brand new combination with Olympic silver medalist Wang Hao, as they overpowered their German rivals to capture the doubles title.

    Female idol Zhang Yining also retained her supremacy, defeating 18-year-old colleague Li Xiaoxia to stand on top of the podium.

    Zhang also harvested a doubles crown with former world number one Wang Nan.

    The Chinese paddles will next move on to Kuwait for the upcoming ITTF Pro Tour tournament.
