Russian Pyleva thrown out of Olympics

    TURIN, Feb. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Russian Olga Pyleva, silver medalistin 15km individual biathlon, was booted out of the Turin Winter Olympics on Thursday after the International Olympic Committee confirmed a positive doping test.

    The 30-year-old Pyleva, a gold medallist in the 10km pursuit in the 2002 Olympics, will be stripped of her medal. Enditem
