Brazilian bobsledder kicked out for doping

    CESANA, Italy, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian bobsledder Armandodos Santos is the first athlete to be kicked out of the Winter Olympics after testing positive for the banned steroid nandrolone.

    Dos Santos, a former hammer thrower, tested positive when the Brazilian Olympic Committee checked on him on Jan. 3-4. His "B" sample has been confirmed positive too, according to a statement from the Brazilian Olympic Committee.

    Brazilian winter sports chief Eric Maleson said Dos Santos has left the Olympics. Enditem
