Kidnappers threaten to kill German hostages in Iraq

    BAGHDAD, Feb. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Kidnappers threatened to kill two German hostages in Iraq if the German government doesn't meet their demands, according to the footage aired by the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV on Monday.

    In the video aired by Al-Arabiya, two German hostages were surrounded by kidnappers who threatened to kill them if the German government did not meet their demands.

    The two German hostages, Thomas Nitschke and Rene Braeunlich, were abducted on Jan. 24 in Beiji, 200 km north of Baghdad.The kidnappers had previously called on the German government to cut all ties with Iraq. Enditem
