S. korean FM to run for top post of UN

    SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- The South Korean Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon will compete for the post of UN secretary-general.

    The incumbent UN chief, Kofi Annan, will end his term on Dec. 31 this year. Enditem
