ANKARA, Feb. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- A huge blast that rocked a supermarket in Istanbul on Monday was caused by a bomb, local television reported.

The private NTV quoted Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler, who was at the scene, as saying that the explosion was caused by a bomb. Guler also accused Kurdish militants of carrying out the attack. No group has claimed responsibility so far.

At least five people were wounded in the explosion at a supermarket in the Bahcelievler district of Istanbul, which is Turkey's largest city and popular tourism destination. Enditem
