Israeli troops kill Palestinian woman in Gaza

    GAZA, Feb. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli troops shot dead on Monday a Palestinian woman near the Kissufim Crossing on the border betweenthe Gaza Strip and Israel, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said.

    Israel Radio quoted Israeli military sources as saying that the soldiers stationed near the crossing suspected someone was approaching them, and they opened fire at the person. Palestinian witnesses said that the woman was identified as 25-year-old Bedouin shepherd Nayfa Abu Musad.

    Palestinian security sources said that a Palestinian ambulance was allowed to carry the woman's body to the hospital in the town of Deir el-Ballah. Enditem
