| Mohamed Azakir, a Reuters photographer, has
won the first prize in the Spot News Singles Category of the World Press
Photo 2006 contest, announced February 10, 2006, with this picture of a
Lebanese shouting for help for a wounded man near the site of a car bomb
explosion. The prestigious competition is the world's largest annual press
photography contest. The picture was taken in Beirut February 14,
