    BEIJING, Feb. 10 -- Chinese delegation for 2006 Olympic Winter Games has held the national flag-raising ceremony in the Olympic village in Turin, Italy.     

    The chief of the delegation, Liu Peng, along with short track and speed skating athletes attended the ceremony. The head of the Olympic Village and extended warm welcome and presented the Olympic torch as the gift to the Chinese delegation.

    The Chinese delegation arrived in Turin on February 8.

    It is the biggest ever Chinese delegation since China first participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1980.
