Kuwaiti emir approves new cabinet line-up

   KUWAIT CITY, Feb. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah approved on Thursday the new cabinet line-up presented by Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-AhmadAl-Sabah, Kuwait News Agency (KNA) reported.   

   First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of  Defense: Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah

   Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: Mohammed   Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah

   Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairsand

   Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs: Mohammed Dhaifallah Sharar

   Minister of Health: Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah

   Minister of Energy: Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah

   Minister of Communications: Ismael Khudhur Al-Shatti

   Minister of Information: Anas Mohammed Ahmad Al-Rushaid

   Minister of Finance: Bader Mishari Al-Humaidhi

   Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Housing Affairs: Bader Nasser Al-Homeidi

   Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education: Adel Taleb Al-Tabtabae

   Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs: Abdullah Abdul-Rahman Al-Maatouq

   Minister of State for Municipality Affairs: Abdullah Saud Al-Muhailbi

   Minister of Social Affairs and Labor: Ali Jarrah Sabah Al-Sabah

   Minister of Planning and Minister of State for Administrative Development Affairs: Maasouma Saleh Al-Mubarak

   Minister of Commerce and Industry: Yousif Sayed Hassan al-Zalzalah  

   Sheikh Sabah appointed on Tuesday former minister of emir court Sheikh Nasser as Prime Minister and asked him to form a cabinet.

   The emir also nominated former Interior Minister Sheikh NawafAl-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Crown Prince, his successor, according to KNA.  Enditem
