14 fatal traffic accdients occur in Spring Festival period

    BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Fourteen fatal traffic accidents with each killing at least five people occurred across China during the Spring Festival holiday season, which lasted from Jan. 28 to Feb. 4.

    The 14 accidents killed 94 people and injured 53 others, down by 4.1 percent and 50 percent, respectively, year on year. The number of accidents declined by 12.5 percent, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security said here Tuesday. Enditem
