Earthquake hits Andaman Islands

    HONG KONG, Feb. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Andaman Islands of India at 4:40 a.m. Hong Kong time on Saturday (2040 GMT, Friday).

    According to the Hong Kong Observatory Saturday, the epicenter was initially determined to be 11.9 north latitude and 92.4 east longitude, about 650 kilometers southwest of Yangon, Myanmar. Enditem
