BAGHDAD, Feb. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- At least six people were killed and over 50 others wounded when two simultaneous explosions hit Baghdad on Thursday, an interior ministry source told Xinhua.

"A car packed with explosives parking near the fuel station in the al-Amin district went off, setting the station and an oil tanker ablaze," the source said.

"Seconds later, another car bomb blast took place in the crowded al-Amin market near the fuel station," the source said.

At least six people were killed, including two children, and over 50 others wounded, he said.

"The al-Kendi hospital in central Baghdad received at least 46 wounded people," he added. Enditem
