18 killed in Indian traffic accident

    NEW DELHI, Feb. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- At least 18 people were killed when a small truck carrying a wedding party collided with an oil tanker overnight on a highway in northern India, police said Wednesday.

    The accident occurred near Meerut, a town 450 km of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh state, police said. Enditem
