DPRK condemns US for aerial spying
www.chinaview.cn 2006-01-30 23:27:38

PYONGYANG, Jan. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Monday condemned the United States for allegedly committing more than 190 cases of aerial espionage against it in January by mobilizing reconnaissance planes of different types.

"The U.S.'s U-2s from the south made shuttle flights over the central DPRK every day," the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying in an article.

"Overseas-based RC-135 strategic reconnaissance planes spied onthe major targets in the north many times," the article added.

The article said the U.S.'s ambition to stifle the DPRK by force of arms remains unchanged.

"That the U.S. is committing such a great deal of aerial espionage against the DPRK is a clear indication that the U.S. is really a 'criminal state' and an 'aggressive state'," the article said. Enditem
