16 killed in firecracker storehouse explosion in Central China

    ZHENGZHOU, Jan. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Sixteen people were killed and some were injured in a firecracker storehouse explosion Sunday afternoon in Central China's Henan Province, said sources with the local government.

    The explosion occurred in Linqi Town of Linzhou City. The storehouse was ignited by fireworks set off by people attending a temple fair nearby. Enditem
