JERUSALEM, Jan. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told world leaders over the weekend that Israel will not hold talks with the Islamic Hamas-dominated Palestinian government unless it abides by three Israeli principles, local newspaper Ha'aretz reported Sunday.

Olmert made the condition in his phone talks over the weekend with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Jordan's King Abdullah II, French President Jacques Chirac, United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and British Prime Minister Tony Blair, said the report.

The acting premier stated that Israel stands by three strict principles regarding Hamas: it must disarm, annul its charter aiming at the destruction of Israel and accept all the agreements signed by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) with Israel.

Olmert highlighted the utmost importance of the international community's position to be presented Monday at a meeting of the Quartet on Mideast, which groups the United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said on Sunday that Israel would continue to carry out "targeted killings" against the leaders of militant groups that carry out terror attacks against Israel, including the Hamas which has won in theJ an. 25 Palestinian parliamentary elections.
