www.chinaview.cn 2006-01-27 08:01:24

BEIJING, Jan. 27 -- The top two titles on the U.S. albums chart did a flip-flop again Wednesday, with Jamie Foxx's ¡°Unpredictable¡± climbing back to No. 1, trading places with Mary J. Blige's latest effort.

In a typically static early-year stanza, actor-singer Foxx's album inched up from No. 2, tracking just over 97,200 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures for the week ending Jan. 22.

¡°Unpredictable¡± was No. 1 for two weeks in a row before Blige returned to the pinnacle last week with ¡°Breakthrough,¡± which debuted at No. 1 in late December. In the latest week, it sold 94,800 units.

Rapper Eminem's hits compilation ¡°Curtain Call¡± rose one place to No. 3 with 74,000 units. ¡°American Idol¡± diva Carrie Underwood's ¡°Some Hearts¡± slipped one to No. 4 with 73,000 units.
