URGENT: China announces 8th human case of bird flu

    BEIJING, Jan. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- China's Ministry of Health on Monday announced the country's eighth human case of H5N1 bird flu.

    The infected is a 6-year-old boy surnamed Ouyang in Guiyang County of central China's Hunan Provincen. He showed the symptoms on Dec. 24 and is now under treatment in hospital. Enditem
