Sharon to be transferred to long-term care
facility
JERUSALEM, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Former
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, comatose since January
after suffering a massive stroke, is to be moved to a
long-term care facility next week, local newspaper The

declares end to Sharon's premiership
JERUSALEM, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli cabinet
unanimously declared comatose Prime Minister Ariel Sharon
"permanently unable to exercise his duties" in a special
session on Tuesday. The cabinet also approved the appointment
