Israeli PM Sharon rushed to hospital

   JERUSALEM, Jan. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was rushed to Hadassah University Hospital due to cardiac condition late Wednesday, his office and Channel 10 TV said.

   The TV report said that Sharon was taken to hospital at his request, and he was fully conscious and talking on the phone as he was taken in his armored car to the hospital.

   Gilad and Omri, Sharon's sons, were with the prime minister at home when Sharon was not feeling well. They accompanied him to the hospital. Enditem
