Broadway musical "Rent" premieres in Beijing

  BEIJING, Jan. 3 -- American Broadway Musical "Rent" premiered in Beijing Exhibition Theater on last Saturday. The performance will last until 5th January.

ĦĦIt is a modern day version of the opera La Boheme. Set in New York City's East Village, It's an emotionally stirring stpry of a community of young artists struggling to live and celebrate life. The show's songs incorporate dance, pop, salsa, R & B and rock'n roll.
