GAZA, Jan. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- Two Palestinian militants were killed and another seriously wounded on Monday night after an Israeli aircraft fired two missiles at their car in the northern Gaza Strip, security sources reported.
The occupants of the car were members of Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement.
Witnesses said that they heard two explosions north of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza, and flames and smoke is coming from the targeted car.
People managed to put out the fire and ambulances evacuated the victims to the hospital.
The Israeli army said that one of the two dead militants was Saed Abu Al-Jidian, the commander of the group in northern Gaza and held responsible for launching homemade rockets at Israel. Enditem |
